Listmage (“Listmage,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Sabir Ali, a sole proprietor based in Lahore, Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Listmage website at listmage.com and the Listmage application installed from the Shopify App Store (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

When you install Listmage on your Shopify store, Shopify provides us, and we store: your store’s permanent myshopify.com domain, the store owner’s name and email address, your store’s creation date, your product count, your Shopify plan name, and an access token that lets the Service interact with your store on your behalf.

Content you provide or import. When you generate a listing, we receive and store the product information you submit manually, the AliExpress product URLs you import, the public product data retrieved from those URLs (title, images, specifications, and similar), and the listing content the Service generates for you.

Usage and operational data. We log generation requests and their outputs, timestamps, listing counts, model used, and token and cost metadata, so we can enforce plan limits, provide usage transparency, and operate the Service. For abuse prevention we store a one-way SHA-256 hash of the store owner’s email address; we do not use this hash to contact you.

Billing data. Subscriptions and payments are processed entirely by Shopify through the Shopify Billing API. We receive your subscription status and charge identifiers from Shopify. We never receive, store, or process your payment card numbers or bank details.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to provide and operate the Service, including generating listings, enforcing your plan’s usage limits, detecting and preventing abuse of the free tier, providing support, communicating with you about the Service, and complying with legal obligations.

Third Parties and Sub-Processors

To deliver the Service we share data with the following providers, each only to the extent needed to perform their function:

• Anthropic (Claude API): the product information and inputs you submit are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate listing content. Inputs are processed to produce your output.
• Shopify: our distribution platform and billing processor.
• Hostinger: hosts our database, where the data described above is stored.
• Vercel: hosts the application that runs the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

AI Processing

Listing content is generated using Anthropic’s Claude models. The product data you submit or import is transmitted to Anthropic to produce your listings. Generated content may contain inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your store and generation data for as long as the Service is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, we stop processing and, in line with Shopify’s requirements, we honor the shop data redaction request Shopify sends after uninstall, deleting your associated store data. You may also request deletion at any time by emailing support@listmage.com.

Your Customers’ Data

Listmage processes your product and store data to generate listings. It does not collect or store your shoppers’ personal information. To remain compliant, we implement the mandatory Shopify data-protection webhooks (customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction) and respond to them as required.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing, under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights, under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email support@listmage.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Data Security

We use access controls and industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

We operate from Pakistan and use service providers that may store and process data in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the protections offered by those providers.

Cookies

Our marketing website uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. The embedded Shopify app relies on Shopify session tokens rather than browser storage for authentication.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
